A note from our 2023 Chair of Judges
As President of The Marketing Society I am proud to invite you to enter The Marketing Society Awards. Marketing is an ever-evolving industry and we must adapt and develop to keep ahead - How brave do we need to be to guide our teams and business into the future? Our world is constantly changing and we must find new solutions to the global challenges that all our organisations face.
Our Awards will recognise those that are leading the way in this new marketing world either as individuals, through the campaigns they produce or the new and creative solutions they put in place to achieve results. We are still looking for effectiveness and marketing excellence; all marketing activity should be effective - that is our day job - but what we really want to see are your exceptional marketing stories that truly demonstrate brave leadership in action.
The judges will be a highly experienced group of marketing practitioners and I am honoured to be leading the panel through the process for the fourth year in a row.
President, The Marketing Society, former Diageo CMO & Chair of Judges
Jane joined ITV in 2019 as Director of Media and was named to her current position in 2020. Before joining ITV, Jane worked across retail and consumer goods in marketing and digital roles for Marks and Spencer, innocent and Mars Chocolate.
Rebecca is CMO at Octopus Energy, a multi-award-winning energy tech supplier with over 3/4 million customers across the UK. Octopus is tech-led and digital first with product, marketing, and customer service. From a utilities background, she was previously a head of product at Centrica-funded Hive.
Head of Marketing, Global Business Solutions, EUI
Trevor is TikTok’s Head of Marketing for Global Business Solutions, EUI. He leads a function that consists of Creative Lab, B2B Marketing and Comms, Brand Strategy and Partnership Solutions.
Following a career in advertising at agencies including McCann Erickson and J Walter Thompson, Lindsey's love of telly drew her to Thinkbox, the UK marketing body for commercial TV, where she now leads the brilliant team who make it their mission to help brands get the best out of today’s TV.
Global Commercial, Marketing & Innovation Director
Becky is an award-winning marketer attracted to challenging roles and the opportunity to make a difference. Management Today selected her as one of 2015's '35 women under 35', and she has won multiple awards from Retail Week, Marketing Week Data Strategy.
As Chief Marketing Officer of Premier Foods, Yilmaz is responsible for Marketing, Innovation, Insights & Analytics, R&D and Business Improvement (BIP) functions in the company and is part of the Executive Leadership team.
Rebecca leads a team of brilliant brand, marketing and communications experts aligned behind EY's purpose of Building a Better Working World. Prior to joining EY, Rebecca led marketing at Samsung and Coca-Cola.
Sarah Barron has been the Chief Marketing Officer of the company since January 2021. Prior to this, she served as Chief Growth Officer at Costa Coffee.

Craig has been non-executive Chairman of the Marketing Society since 2018. He leads the fiduciary Board and governance committees and works with the Executive team to develop the organisation’s global strategy, as well as being a speaker at key events.

Rachel joined Morrisons in April 2021 as their Chief Customer and Marketing Officer, responsible for customer service, brand & product development, marketing, price & promotions, digital, customer experience, insight and PR.
Syl Saller CBE is among marketing’s preeminent global leaders of our time with experience ranging from luxury goods to FMCG and retail/franchisee businesses. She is an Executive Coach and Mentor, Board Member, Marketing Advisor and President of the Marketing Society and co-founder of the Marketing Leadership Masterclass.
International Head of Creative & Growth
At the end of 2018, he transitioned to be a founding member of the General Mills New Ventures incubation team for Europe-Australasia setting up their Natural & Organic Business Unit as well as their European Venture Capital arm.
Claire joined from Barclaycard, where she was group channels and content director, and chief of staff before that. She has prior travel marketing experience with private aviation firm NetJet. Claire then joined Virgin Holidays before being promoted to her former role, SVP Marketing and CMO at Virgin Atlantic.

Naomi currently leads marketing for Bumble, the women-first dating app in over 15 markets across EMEA and APAC. She is responsible for setting the marketing strategy and leading the marketing organisation to drive Bumble’s growth and international expansion.

In her previous role, Munnawar was Vice President and Global Category for Beauty, No7 Beauty Company a division of Walgreens Boots Alliance. She led a team of Global marketeers leading strategy, communication and innovation across the entire Beauty Portfolio.

A leading-edge marketer with 20 years of experience building some of the biggest FMCG brands in the industry. Chris is a passionate marketer who believes brand building at its best puts the consumer at the very heart of everything.
The Marketing Society
Her most recent role has been as CEO of The Caffeine Partnership, a unique business consultancy which helps leaders to work with purpose and pace, where she has worked with impatient business leaders across the world. In July 2020 Sophie became the new CEO of the Society, a global community of senior marketers.

Karl Weaver has built businesses in the marketing sector and has a successful track record as a transformational leader and advisor to boards. He joined MediaLink in 2022 as Senior Vice President, Advisory, focusing on marketing transformation for the firm’s global brand clients in Europe.

Giles is the Global Consumer Planning Director at Diageo, the no.1 premium spirits company and one of the world’s most effective brand builders. Giles sits on Diageo’s Marketing Leadership Team and heads up a 150-strong consumer planning function.

Jessica is a brand and marketing specialist, with a track record of leading brands through transformational change. Before joining The Very Group, Jessica sat on the ExCo of Metro Bank leading the marketing team.
Nina is a Managing Director of Accenture Song and leads its Marketing Function, as well as the Song Talent agenda. Prior to working for Accenture, Nina spent a decade at Brand Learning, a boutique Capabilities consultancy and prior to that that she spent a decade the Consumer Goods industry.
Paul has led the WARC business since it was acquired by Ascential in 2018. In this time, Paul and the team have delivered 5 successive years of double-digit revenue growth - including through the pandemic - and are on track to double the size of the business within 5 years of the acquisition.

Matthew Barwell is the Chief Marketing Officer of Britvic Soft Drinks Plc, a key member of the Executive Committee responsible for all aspects of Global Brand strategy and execution, Innovation, Research and Development, as well as for Corporate Affairs and the company’s sustainability agenda.
Simonetta is the Chief Marketing Officer of the Evelyn Partners. She is a senior customer-centric and commercial executive with 25+ years’ experience across global cross-border payments, banking, wealth management, health insurance and luxury travel industries.
