Gareth Helm, Global Chief Marketing Officer, HomeServe

Gareth has over 30 years’ experience in marketing businesses all around the world. Starting out as a graduate trainee with Unilever in the Middle East, he has gone on to work in early stage start-ups, late stage growth business and mature PLCs in the UK and Globally.

His start-up experience include Innocent Drinks, Bear Snacks and; brands which have gone on to transform categories. Growth businesses have been digital platform businesses include Zoopla, uSwitch and MoneySuperMarket, where his Epic Strut was the UKs advert of the year in 2015. More recently Gareth was CMO for McDonalds restaurants in the UK & Ireland and became the Global CMO for HomeServe and their family of brands, including Checkatrade in 2020. Alongside HomeServe, Gareth is NED for Higgidy foods.

Gareth was recognised as one of the top 100 most effective marketeers in 2021 by Marketing Week, is a Fellow at The Marketing Academy and trained in Executive Coaching by Ashridge Hult International Business School.
