In her previous role, Munnawar waas Vice President and Global Category for Beauty, No7 Beauty Company a division of Walgreens Boots Alliance. She led a team that consists of Global marketeers leading strategy, communication and innovation across the entire Beauty Portfolio for brands including No7, Liz Earle and Soap & Glory. She also led the Incubator Team leading digital consumer experience transformation, the Gifting team leading multi-million revenue gifting offer and local marketing teams across the globe. Munnawar joined WBA from GSK consumer healthcare in 2019.
Before joining WBA, Munnawar held several senior global strategic and local leadership roles at GSK and Johnson & Johnson in beauty and healthcare. She has delivered growth for international brands including Sensodyne, Neutrogena, Aveeno and Gillette and for leading UK brands including Walkers Crisps, John Smiths and Newcastle Brown Ale and a personal favourite Monster Munch!
Munnawar plays an active role in championing diversity and inclusion within the business and wider beauty industry, holding the role of Exec Sponsor of the Racial Equity and Cultural Heritage Business Resource Group in WBA and working with several external organisations in the DE&I sector. She is also a NED on the board of Bucks & Berks FA.
